(Current SU students are exempt from this requirement but must still submit the application form and fee)

For all instrumentalists: Please submit an audio recording or video if  (CD or DVD format only) of two works of contrasting styles (you can select any movement from any sonata or concerto written for your particular instrument). In addition, include two contrasting orchestral excerpts from the standard orchestral repertoire.

The tape must be a minimum of 10-minutes in length but should not exceed 20 minutes in length. As no professional recording is expected of the applicants be sure, however, that the recording represents your playing ability in the best possible manner.

Please mark all CD or DVD clearly with your name on the case and indicate what instrument you play. Submit the recording along with your completed application to the address indicated on the form.

For conductors: Please submit a video recording (CD or DVD format only) of a recent rehearsal and a concert not to exceed 20 minutes in length. Be sure that the audio for the rehearsal portions of your video is audible. The video must show the applicant from the front. Videos that show the applicant from the back will not be taken into consideration.
